Grants and
Financial Support
At Green-Eco Services, we understand that the cost of implementing energy-efficient solutions can be a concern. That’s why we’re committed to helping you access various grants and funding options to make your transition to energy efficiency more affordable.
ECO Grant: Your Path to Efficiency
The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) is a vital initiative by the UK government aimed at improving energy efficiency, reducing carbon emissions, and alleviating fuel poverty. It’s a grant program designed to empower homeowners to lower their energy bills, stay warm, and contribute to a greener environment. Currently, our customers can apply for the ECO grant, specifically tailored to assist low-income and vulnerable households in adopting energy-efficient solutions.
We are here to guide you through the entire process, from determining your eligibility for ECO funding to the seamless installation of energy-efficient upgrades.
Exploring ECO Flex
The ECO grant is also accessible through ECO Flex, a scheme where local authorities identify eligible households under the “affordable warmth scheme.” This program offers grants for boilers or storage heaters, even if you don’t receive benefits or tax credits. Each local authority sets its own eligibility criteria, but commonly considered factors include:
- Health: If you or someone in your household has a medical condition like cardiovascular disease or diabetes, you may qualify for a grant as you are deemed vulnerable to cold temperatures and in need of improved heating.
- Age: If you or any household member is over 60, you may be eligible for a grant.
- Property Type: Depending on your property’s characteristics and heating needs, you could qualify for this grant. An assessment to determine the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating will help the local authority assess your home’s requirements
HHCRO: Making Homes More Affordable
The Home Heating Cost Reduction Obligation (HHCRO) is a qualifying criterion for the ECO grant. It’s designed to provide funding for insulation (loft or solid wall) and heating systems (boilers or storage heaters) for low-income households. You are eligible if you receive at least one of the benefits listed below and meet the relevant income requirements:
- Income-related employment and support allowance
- Income-based job seekers allowance
- Income support
- Pension credit guarantee credit
- Tax credits
- Universal credit
If you believe you meet these criteria, please contact us using the form below, and we’ll be happy to assist you in exploring your grant options. Your privacy is important to us, and your information will never be shared with third parties. You can opt-out of our communications at any time.
